What color leggings would look good with a light pink shirt?

I'm trying to figure out what to wear on the first day of classes. Me 'm getting a pink shirt that says "expert" on it. It is a Jason Mraz shirt. (One of his songs is called Geek In The Pink) Therefore, I wear that shirt with leggings and shorts, because they wear skirts. What color pants would go well with that shirt? And what kind of shorts I wear? I like the idea torn jeans and leggings black. Thanks! And people will not laugh at me because my school is very small. I only have 11 children my degree and I know them all.
