Looking for a cool way to use T-shirts that I bought at concerts?
I have many, many shirts and I like to do something "crafty" with them, so they always have them. I thought of a quilt – with the front of each shirt and sewing on blocks in the front and back of a large quilt. Any suggestions on how to make the quilt would be welcome! But that does not even begin to use all the shirts I have! Good ideas? They are very cool shirts!
That is a very creative idea! I am not a teacher of sewing, but I know how. First, carefully cut the front of the jerseys that the logo is on a direct en-as-you-can square / rectangle. Most shirts have concert dates and locations in the back, you can cut that too. Once all the cutting is done, sew the sides together until a square / rectangle. If it is not straight at the sides, then sew the fabric on the side to make a straight line. Then you can do same with the back of the shirts. Once you're done with it, sew the two pieces together, put aside, and then backfill it to be comfortable. Sew the last side, add finishing touches, and ….. already!
