Hello, What I would do is to educate potential customers in your area about the benefits of your promotional hats and shirts. The real trick here is to convince them that they have a need that your product can satisfy. An example of this need is to build brand. By emphasizing the need and then positioning your product as the answer to that need, then would be much easier to convince to buy your items. A good example is an article I found on a website that sells promotional cups and mugs. The aforementioned Article suggests to readers that "promotion cups is the most efficient way to reach your target market." So what this does is the first, develops a need for the reader to "reach their target market" or customers then secondly, the positions "cups" as the response to this need.
