Any suggestions on how to get started in the custom shirt business?

My son would like to open a custom shirt shop, the transferring photos to the shirts. What kind of equipment is required for this type of business? Does anyone have any experience in this type of work?

The garment industry, as you can imagine, it's a competition. To succeed takes knowledge, patience, talent and luck. As for the little knowledge goes, I found some sources that will help even more. Partnerships can be a good avenue to explore as well.
